Cameron "Jammer" Strickland
Head Coach
Prior to becoming Head Coach, Jammer was the Recruiting Coordinator at Johnson University in 2023. Previously, he was the Assistant Coach/Recruiting coordinator for PGS for 3 years.

Jammer was named Outfield/Hitting coach for Combine Academy Baseball in July of 2019. Before Combine he was an assistant at South Doyle High School (Knoxville, TN) for 2 years where he oversaw Hitting, Outfield, and Strength development. Also in the summers he was a head coach for Diamond Baseball Simcox Academy, a very well-known baseball facility/travel baseball organization in Tennessee, that’s operated by former University of Tennessee assistant Larry Simcox.

Before his coaching career began in the summer of 2017, Jammer played for 3 different schools in the collegiate ranks. He attended nationally ranked Farragut High school, where he was a two-time state champion at Farragut...During his senior year at FHS, he was a member of All-State team and was named the District Player of the Year as well...He was a two-time Perfect Game Underclassman All-American and a member of the second team Louisville Slugger All-American team. He signed to the University of Tennessee and after one year later he left for Cleveland State Community College. While at CSCC, he played under Mike Policastro...He was ranked in the top 200 JUCO prospects during his freshman and sophomore year at Cleveland State. After CSCC, he played at East Tennessee State University where he ended his baseball career. His senior year was his best while batting .306 5 HRs 44 RBI and making many highlight plays in left field which landed him on SportsCenter’s Top 10. Strickland graduated in 2017 from ETSU, with a B.A. in Marketing.
